About Our Company

LaFleur Petroleum Services (LPS) was established in 1986 at Weatherford, Texas (20 miles west of Fort Worth, Texas). It was originally formed in order to market our patented oilfield equipment and to offer engineering design. In 1991, LPS opened its own machine shop to enhance control and delivery of our products. Since then our oilfield product line has grown and we added new computer controlled equipment with modern tooling and engineering design software.

In 1996 a new service was introduced. LPS now offers a full line of mold design and mold manufacture capabilities. We are currently making molds which range from glass industry rubber rollers, seals, water skis, snow boards, oilfield cementing plugs and many other products. This has given us a broad and varied experience level. LPS is primarily an oilfield machine shop with a large assortment of API gauges.

LPS IS PROUD TO BE ISO 2000/9001 & API/Q1 COMPLIANT AND ACTIVELY WORKING TOWARDS FULL MONOGRAM CERTIFICATION.

ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES

Design: conceptualization drawing, working models, display models, prototypes, and specialty machines. Data transfer across popular platforms.

Manufacturing: Detail drawings, Tooling design, Special work holding devices.

Support: CNC Programming, Custom test stands.

Analysis: Finite element and Failure analysis, hydrostatic testing services.

Digitizing: FARO ARM & SOFTWARE for CAD-to-part comparison,
prismatic and contour measurement and Reverse Engineering.

MANUFACTURING SERVICES

Blanking: Sawing, cutting, roughing to near net size.

Finishing: Manual and automated deburr and custom coatings (boron silicide).

Turning: CNC and Manual turning. Diameters to 40 inches and lengths to 120 inches.

Fabrication: GTAW, GMAW, Custom flame cutting, custom test fixtures and stands.

Milling: CNC and Manual milling. Captured capacity: 40" x 84" x 25". Freestanding: 12' x 12' x 24" or to customer specification.

Assembly: Complete assembly support per requirement.

Molding: Custom molding and specialty molding machines such as our EDM Sinker.
