MODEL 04 INTEGRAL CEMENTING HEADS

Our Integral cementing heads have NO WELDS. All unions are fully integral. The Unions on the heads utilize an acme thread, locking nut and poly seals. There are no thread seals. This has resulted in higher pressure ratings than our former Model 97 welded heads.

The LaFleur Petroleum Services (LPS) Integral Cementing Head is manufactured in three models: Single Plug Head (Figure I), Double Plug Head (Figure II) and Stage Tool Head.

Technical Specifications:

I. Three Piece Quick Coupler- LaFleur Petroleum Services has designed the Quick Connect Nut to be able to be hung up out the way of the bottom of the Quick Coupler Pin. This allows full view of the connector pin when stabbing into the bottom Casing Adapter Sub.

II. Plug Release Pin- Has a high-pressure rating, low maintenance and positive indication of full pin retraction and insertion. The Stage Tool Plug model will hold all makes of stage tool plugs and opening bombs as well as standard plugs.

III. Plug Pass Indicator: when the plug is leaving the head and about to enter the casing adapter, it meets and rotates a lever. The lever then rotates a flag on the outside of the heads. When this flag rotates, the plug has POSITIVELY left the head.
